Note: The federal government contracted SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. (now AtkinsRéalis) on a project which they bribed the Libyan government and faced prosecution which if guilty would receive amandatory ban 10-years from receiving government contracts. In 2013, Lavalin was sentenced to a 10-year band by the World Bank in a bribery scheme in Bangledash, as well as misconduct charges in Cambodia.*

- Budget 2025 announced the Government of Canada’s intention to legislate the Clean Electricity Investment Tax Credit, which is a refundable credit equal to 15% of the capital cost of eligible investments in equipment related to low-emitting electricity generation – like nuclear equipment.1
